What to Expect

When you come you can expect...

…a friendly casual atmosphere.
…to experience the Love of God.
…a relevant message based on the Bible.
…live praise & worship music.
…a fun and safe place for your kids and teens to learn about Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit.

What should I wear?

Feel free to dress anyway you normally do; dressy or casual, jeans or a dress, etc. The only requirement is that you are actually dressed! The pastor will be dressed in slacks, dress shirt and sometimes a tie!

Do I need to be “churchy” to fit in at your church?

Nope.  We are not here to judge your past or even your present, but to point you to Jesus and help you to have a joyful, peaceful, and rewarding life. We endeavor to make the messages easy to understand with hands on illustrations and also provide plenty of opportunities for growth for those who are hungry for more.

Where do I go with my kids?

We provide an area specific to children’s ministry during the Sunday service for kids 4 years to 6th grade. Our Greeter or Ushers would be glad to show you where to go.

Are you going to do anything to embarrass me?

We have no plans on embarrassing anyone or making anyone feel uncomfortable.  We take our leading from God who is a perfect gentleman and never forces anybody into anything.  We endeavor to create an atmosphere that is conducive for the Word of God and the Holy Spirit, working together, to change people’s lives.

Sooo…what are your services like?

We have a contemporary service which includes a message based on the Bible.  During the service, you should expect to be given an opportunity to meet Jesus if you don’t already know Him.  Every time you come, we believe you will leave wiser, stronger, encouraged and empowered.  Even if you recognize that you need to make some adjustments in your life, we believe you will leave the service equipped and empowered to make the necessary changes.

Do people raise their hands?

More than likely, yes.  And some might even shout.  If people can do that at a football or basketball game why would we consider it “weird” to do this in church?  After all, what we are celebrating is much more exciting!  We believe that Church should be fun!
